ENHARMONIC CHORDING

WORLD TAE KWON DO
In Tae Kwon Do, as in other martial arts, a hierarchical belt system is used, which determines the level of technique and experience of the athlete.
There are a total of 10 points, which in Korean are called Cups. The lowest grade is the 10th, which corresponds to the white zone and the highest is the 1st, which corresponds to the Black Belt. The two types of points are the Cups and the Dans. Dan's are the top and are displayed with a gold line on the belt. The maximum number of Dan is 9 and these examinations are done by the competent committee of the federation (PEOTT).
Students who wish are examined every 3-5 months in the Tae Kwon Do curriculum, thus recognizing their athletic ability, range of theoretical and technical knowledge and contribution to this sport.
The new belt is obtained after examinations in which the athlete mainly applies techniques against imaginary opponents (Poomsae), the present of the teacher and other judges.
